Let’s face it.  We women all love to feel beautiful.  Feel realllll good about ourselves and there is nothing better than the feeling of our men noticing it.  We’re all human!  I am such a lover of feeling beautiful and documenting it.  The prefect gift to yourself or your lover is photos of yourself feeling 100%.  Keep them forever and show your grandkids your youthful beauty.  All shapes and sizes,  WOMEN ARE BEAUTIFUL!

My favorite subject I shoot is Boudoir.  I love getting personal with my girls.  Getting them comfortable in their own skin and documenting their beautiful selves.  I have a few spots left before Valentine’s Day… so email me for inquiries & bookings! //

We finally made this magic happened.  We’ve been trying to connect on this project for months now.  Finalllllly!  And let me tell you one thing, we sure didn’t let the gloom get in our way.  Being that I only shoot with natural light, it can get tricky sometimes, especially when it is cloudy in LA.  You know, that ONE DAY OUT OF THE YEAR!  I have never been tempted to even play with artificial light, and I am so happy about it!

ANYWAY, here is the lovely, beautiful and talented Felisha Terrell.

Since it is under 70 degrees in LA right now (pull out your gloves, patagnoias and thick socks) I have been craving warm soup.  I rarely make Lentil Soup, but when I do… my husband adores me.  He said this was a “masterpiece” and the best he’s ever had.  *back pat*.  I really wanted to share my thrown together recipe with everyone.  I used all organic ingredients, which I usually always do.  Quick tip: If you don’t like curry, simple leave it out!

Lentil Soup

  • 4 cloves Garlic
  • 1 Yellow Onion
  • 4 Carrots
  • 4 stalks Celery
  • 3 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 2 Cups Lentils
  • 1 tbsp Cumin
  • 2 qt Vegetable Broth
  • 1 Bay Leaf
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 2 Tablespoons Curry Powder
  • 1 Cup Quinoa
  • 1 Bunch Organic Spinach

In a dutch oven or large pot, add oil and chopped garlic and saute.  Add onions, celery and carrots and saute until tender.

Add lentils, curry and cumin.  Stir until lentils are evenly s saturated saturated saturated oil.

Pour the broth into the pot and add the bay leaf.  Cook until lentils are tender and then add the quinoa.  Cook on medium for 15 mins, or until quinoa is cooked.  Serve hot.  Serves about 6.  Enjoy!
